These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the pocketninjagames.com website and every app published by Pocket Ninja AB ("we", "us"). By accessing the website or using our apps, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are
Pocket Ninja AB
Organisation number: 559107-4280

2. Using our website and apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our website and apps on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You do not buy the game — you buy the right to use it.
You agree not to:
- Copy, sell, rent, lend or sub-licence our software, or any part of it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where law expressly allows it despite this clause.
- Modify it, or use modified, cracked or unofficial versions.
- Use bots, scripts, automation or memory editing to play, to change your progress, or to change a balance of virtual items.
- Interfere with leaderboards, or submit scores you did not earn by playing.
- Use our services for illegal purposes, or interfere with anyone else's use of them.
- Interfere with the security or operation of our services, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- Remove or hide any copyright, trademark or credit notice.
If you do any of these, we may end your licence. Because our games have no accounts and no servers of our own, we generally cannot ban an individual player — but Apple and Game Center have their own rules, and a cheated Game Center score can be removed by Apple.
3. Age
Our games are not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use them. In some countries the age of digital consent is higher, and in that case you must meet your country's age.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use our apps with the permission of a parent or guardian, and only they may make purchases.
4. In-app purchases
Some of our apps offer in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple is the seller. Apple takes the payment, Apple holds your payment details, and Apple issues the receipt. We never see your card details.
All purchases are subject to:
- Apple's Terms of Service, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions
- The Privacy Policy for the app you are using
- These Terms
Prices are set per country and shown in your local currency, including any applicable tax, in the App Store and in the app before you confirm anything. Prices may change. A price change never applies to a purchase you have already made, and for a subscription Apple will ask you to agree before it charges a new price.
Refunds
We cannot issue refunds. Only Apple can.
Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or through Settings on your device. Apple decides refund requests under its own terms, and we have no power to grant, speed up or overturn that decision. This applies to every kind of purchase — subscriptions and one-off items alike. If you write to us about a refund we will point you at Apple, because that is genuinely the only route.
5. Subscriptions
Some of our apps offer an optional auto-renewing subscription. Where one is offered, what follows applies to it. The subscription's name, what it includes, the length of each period and the price are shown in that app's shop screen and on its App Store listing before you confirm — we do not repeat them here, because they differ per app and per country and can change.
How you are charged
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
Automatic renewal
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price for the plan you are on.
- Renewal is for the same length of period as the one you bought. A monthly plan renews for a month, a yearly plan for a year.
Free trials
Where a free trial is offered, its length is shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. A trial turns into a paid subscription automatically when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Apple decides whether you are eligible for a trial.
How to cancel
You cancel through Apple, not through us. There is no cancel button inside our apps, and we cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. On your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, tap the app, then tap Cancel Subscription. Do this at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or you will be charged for the next period.
When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. It does not stop immediately, and Apple does not refund the remainder of a period as a matter of course.
Restoring a subscription
If you reinstall an app or move to a new device, use "Restore purchases" in the app. This asks Apple whether your Apple ID has an active subscription and turns the features back on if it does. A subscription follows your Apple ID, not the device.
6. Virtual goods
Some of our apps offer virtual items such as in-game coins, hint credits, themes, or other non-tangible game content. These items:
- Have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
- Cannot be transferred between user accounts or between different apps.
- Are valid only within the specific app where they were purchased.
- Are non-refundable once granted, except where required by law.
Where an app gives you a free allowance of something each day, that allowance resets daily and unused amounts do not carry over. Items you have bought do not expire, and are normally spent only after the free allowance is used up.
If you uninstall an app, lose your device, or switch to a different Apple ID, virtual goods tied to your in-app account may be lost, and using an app's "Reset progress" function destroys them. We will make a reasonable effort to restore non-consumable purchases (such as ad-free upgrades) via the "Restore Purchases" function, but consumable items like coin or hint balances cannot be recovered once spent — that is how Apple's system works for consumables, and it is not something we can change.
7. Your game data
Our games have no accounts. You never create a username or a password with us, and we never ask for your email address to play.
Your progress is stored in a file on your device. Where an app supports it, that file also syncs through Apple's iCloud storage, so your progress can follow you to another device signed in to the same iCloud account.
We do not keep a copy of your progress on any server of ours. That means:
- If you delete an app and iCloud does not have a copy, your progress is gone.
- If you use an app's "Reset progress" function, your progress is gone, on every device.
- We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.
Game Center sign-in, where offered, is optional. If you sign in, your Game Center name and your scores are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website and in our apps — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — is the property of Pocket Ninja AB or our licensors and is protected by Swedish and international copyright law. Game names, logos, and branding (including "Bounce Em Balls", "Wordfly Puzzle" and "Pocket Ninja Games") are trademarks of Pocket Ninja AB.
9. Advertising
Some of our apps are supported by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdMob. By using such apps, you acknowledge that:
- Advertisements may be displayed during normal use of the app.
- In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you are asked for consent before ads use advertising identifiers, through Google's consent form.
- Whether an app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission differs per app. Where iOS prompts you, granting it allows personalised ads and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Where an app does not ask, iOS does not give it your advertising identifier and ads are not personalised using it. Each app's Privacy Policy states which applies.
- Ad content is provided by third parties; we are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any specific advertisement.
Where an app offers a paid option that removes advertising, buying it removes the ads described in that app's shop screen.
10. Availability, updates and changes
We want our apps to work, but we cannot promise they always will.
- They depend on services we do not run: the App Store, Game Center, iCloud, Apple's payment system, and our ad and purchase providers. If those are down, parts of a game may not work.
- We may release updates that change, add or remove features, including changes to difficulty, rewards, ad frequency and level design.
- We may stop supporting older versions of iOS or older devices.
- We may stop offering an app, or stop supporting it, at any time.
If we withdraw an app entirely, we will give reasonable notice where we can, and any subscription you have paid for will run to the end of the period you paid for. Apple handles that.
11. Disclaimers
Our website and apps are provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to make them reliable and bug-free, we make no warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Pocket Ninja AB is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of data, loss of progress, lost virtual items, lost profits or loss of goodwill.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in question in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded under Swedish law
Your rights as a consumer are not affected. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another country with mandatory consumer protection, you keep every right that law gives you, and nothing here takes them away.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if you breach these Terms or for other legitimate reasons.
14. Apple's role
These Terms are between you and Pocket Ninja AB. Apple is not a party to them.
Apple has no obligation to provide support for our apps, and is not responsible for an app or its content. If an app does not conform to any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. Beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and may enforce them against you.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Sweden, with Stockholms tingsrätt as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection law grants you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ to resolve disputes.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you through our website or in-app.
