How to Play Wordfly Puzzle: All Four Game Modes Explained

Short answer: Wordfly Puzzle has four modes. Groups is about spotting categories, Letter Grid is a timed word search, Tile Board is crossword building, and Word Drop is clearing stacked letter bubbles. You can play all of them offline, for free, without an account.

Groups
Sixteen words, four hidden categories, four words each.
How it works: Tap four words you think belong together and submit. Correct sets lock in; a wrong guess costs a life.
Tip: Start with the category you are most certain about, and watch for words that fit two groups — those are the trap.
Letter Grid
A timed word search across a grid of letters.
How it works: Swipe across connected letters to spell a word. Every valid word adds to your score before the clock runs out.
Tip: Sweep for common endings first — -ing, -ed, -er. They turn one root word into three.
Tile Board
A crossword-style board you build yourself.
How it works: Place the letter tiles you are given so they form crossing words, using every tile.
Tip: Place your awkward letters early. Leaving a Q or a V for last is how boards get stuck.
Word Drop
Handcrafted levels of stacked letter bubbles.
How it works: Spell words from the bubbles you can reach. Clearing bubbles low in the stack collapses everything above them.
Tip: Short words near the bottom beat long words at the top — the collapse does the work for you.
Daily puzzle, streaks and the campaign
Beyond the four modes there is a new Groups puzzle every day, daily goals with a streak counter, and a handcrafted campaign split into chapters where each level awards up to three stars. Playing keeps unlocking creatures for the in-game collection, which is the closest thing Wordfly has to a long-term goal.
How long is a session?
Two to fifteen minutes. A daily Groups puzzle takes a couple of minutes; a campaign chapter or a run of Letter Grid rounds fills a commute. Nothing expires while you are away and nothing asks you to come back at a set time.
